The saddest part of the cruise was when I got sick in the night before we were supposed to go to Atlantis for the day. I threw up countless times and could barely move the next morning. Everyone left without me and I went to the ship doctor so they could confirm I was truly sick and therefore get a refund on the excursion. However, that meant I had to quarantine in my room for 24 hours and missed pirate night that evening as well... :(
Every single family member said Atlantis was amazing--the best thing they'd ever done--and would do it again in a heartbeat. I will have to make that happen so I can go!
