The End of An Era :)

We've spent a lot of time at this school this past year and we've enjoyed every minute of it.  The teams we've watched have been great but our real joy has been watching this girl...

When she was done with her final game Saturday night, she found her two cute friends she's grown close to this year in cheer, took off her cheer shoes, threw on her boots and was ready to hit the road.

We will all miss this beautiful girl in our own way but SO excited for what this next year will bring for her in Tennessee!

I think Grayson will miss her the most (or almost as much as Hailey will miss him)...

Farewell to being a cheerleader the past 6+ years of her life.  On to bigger AND better!!!

February Fun!

The month is more than halfway over and this is the first chance I've had to post! (My blog book at the end of the year is going to be mighty thin...)  As the title of this post illustrates, we've had fun in February!  We love spending time together and relish the moments when we can join Hailey in Provo or she drives up to Bountiful so our dwindling family feels more complete.  We also do a lot of laughing and eating when we're all together.

Cooper is also a HUGE part of our family and we spend lots of time laughing with him and about him :)

We enjoyed Valentines Day and I had my usual custom Valentine bags for each family member with some of their favorite treats...

John sent me some beautiful tulips, took me to dinner at Mikado and a performance of the BYU Young Ambassadors at the Conference Center Theater.  A fun night with a few sweet treats intermingled between activities (Fiiz cookies, Plate and Palates coconut cupcakes and my all-time favorite... chocolate-covered cinnamon bears!)

Hailey is coaching the Alta High School JV girls lacrosse team and drives to SLC a couple times each week.  Monday is one of her coaching days so we scheduled a FHE at Desert Star so she could join us for an evening of food, laughter and fun--what our family seems to thrive on!
