Ring Ceremony & Wedding Reception

We had a ring ceremony for family members who weren't able to join us in the temple prior to the reception at Canterbury Place in Bountiful. The Cotterell family sang "Families Can Be Together Forever" and Steve King officiated the service.

Christmas Day 2016

We woke up to almost two feet of snow Christmas morning which happened to fall on Sunday this year. Many churches canceled their meetings but ours did not. Our choir sang three numbers and I accompanied one of them on the cello. We had a one-hour sacrament meeting at 9 am and then came home and open our gifts. The kids were very happy with everything they received, highlights including Janoski Nike shoes for Riley; everything in Hailey's Amazon cart she needed/wanted; blue tooth headphones, shoes and perfume for Hillary; waterproof Garmin for Patrick; Apple watch for Garrett and sub-woofer speakers for Grayson's car...

Dad was able to make it through the snow for a visit before we all went to Michelle & Steve's for a wonderful Christmas dinner. Sure loved having all 8 of us at our house for Christmas but missed having mom with us since she's in the memory care assisted living center.

Christmas Eve 2016

It was so fun to have the whole family in town for Christmas prior to Hailey and Riley's wedding. We enjoyed a fun Christmas Eve dinner (Texas Roadhouse) and white elephant gift game at Grandma & Grandpa Tebbs' house with Mark & Lee Ann's family.

Christmas Activities...

John and I enjoyed the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas Concert which I was able to get tickets to since they were assigned online on a first-come, first-serve basis instead of a lottery...

Craig & Marianne came for a visit for the first time in two years since moving to the Houston area. We had a fun dinner and visit at the Piggott's.

I took Lauretta and Kristen with me to see Gentri at Abravanel Hall. They're my favorite LDS "boy band." We got an added bonus with Lexi Walker and the American Heritage Youth Lyceum Orchestra.

...and John and I enjoyed several late-night December movies helping us to prepare for becoming empty nesters this summer.

WXHS Christmas Dance!

Grayson and his friends always plan fun activities for their dates at the dances. His group went to see the lights at Temple Square and then came back for hot chocolate and scones while they made gingerbread houses. He and his cute friend Camryn had a great night!

The actual dance was a few nights later on Saturday, Dec. 10 and John and I wanted to attend the family party for his sister Marianne and husband Craig who were visiting from Texas so we missed the before-dance pictures... However, they were at our house so one of the moms took lots of pics and sent them to me.

This is one of all 13 couples and I love how the picture of Jesus is worked right into the photo so it looks like he's totally watching over the group :)

The girls all looked beautiful and stunning! Such a great light in all of their eyes...

This was my favorite picture of all the guys because Cooper thought he was one of them! Good looking young men too!!

Grayson is blessed to have amazing friends and good role models in his life. He had an awesome night which ended at another friend's house for waffles and crepes. Sure glad he woke us up to tell us he was home at 3 am!!!
