HIGH Fitness Certification

I've been attending High Fitness classes for more than two years and have LOVED the workout! This year I decided I would get out of my comfort zone, dare to do something new and actually get certified so I could teach. There were a few openings in the Phoenix instructor training Jan. 12. Niece Courtnie had shown a little interest so I persuaded her to join me and she invited her fitness-instructor friend Bailee from Texas. The three of us shared a car and hotel, walked into our day of training a little after 11 am and walked out just after 8 pm with our certification and instructions on how to get our High Fitness businesses going. It was SO hard, intense, physically grueling and mentally draining but I'm glad I did it! I've since sent in my two demo videos, gotten them passed off and I'm fully certified to teach! Very excited to begin this new adventure/journey. Never say "I'm too old!"

38 new instructors in AZ, TX, HI, ID, CA, NV and UT!

The other BEST part of the trip was going to church with Garrett and Julia in their new ward! So fun to see these cute kids :)

Empty Nesting...

With all of the kids either in Vegas, St. George, Phoenix or Brazil, we are totally on our own. We planned a fun day at the Midway Ice Castles (where John was even game to go down a claustrophobic enclosed ice slide), bought cheese curd and Aggie ice cream at Cache Valley Cheese Factory in Midway, an hour of axe throwing at Heber Hatchets and a delicious meal at Main Street Social in Heber City. Great date day/night!!

Moving to Phoenix!

We wrapped up 2018 by moving Garrett & Julia to Phoenix, Arizona where Garrett will be working full-time for McCarthy Builders in their Phoenix regional office.

They're living in a great townhome with 2-car garage in the Biltmore area. The food in Phoenix was amazing and we ate lots of it! We did some sightseeing, exploring, went to a movie and hiked Camelback Mountain before flying home and wishing the couple good luck in their new home.

And I wrapped up my year by finishing the Book of Mormon...

Christmas Week!

We were blessed to have all three married couples spend Christmas week with us this year. We held our annual extended Tebbs family white elephant gift party on Sunday, Dec. 23.

We wore our matching PJs Monday, Dec. 24, Christmas Eve...

Woke up Tuesday, Dec. 25 to piles of gifts and a couple of puzzles we had to put together...

We were thrilled with Hillary and Patrick's announcement of the upcoming arrival of baby Coffey in June. Even Elder Tebbs was excited about the news of becoming an uncle! It was so great to talk to Grayson and hear his happy voice and see his handsome face. 6-1/2 months to go!

We had some of the Kings and Papa over for Christmas dinner and then our family rented a Skybox for an 8:30 pm Christmas night Jazz game. Our tickets included $30 of food per person and the Jazz beat the Trailblazers so it was a great night!

On Wednesday, Dec. 26 we headed up to Midway. The guys went on a 2-hour snowmobile ride, we all soaked in the crater, had dinner at Taurahumara and spent the night at the Homestead Resort.

Thursday, Dec. 27 the guys went snowboarding all day at the Park City resorts and the gals went shopping at the Park City outlet stores.

Friday, Dec. 28 the gals got facials and the guys got massages. We made a quick visit to Grammy and Papa so the kids living out of state could say goodbye. Finished our evening at Desert Star theater for dinner and a show.
