Summer Fun Part 2

Definitely not part of our summer fun but a beautiful remembrance of Cooper, our furry angel family member. Each of the kids got one too...

Garrett and Julia drove up to the Payson Temple for Julia's cousin's sealing. Grayson and I were thrilled to tend Sadie Jane in the temple waiting room for an hour!

We drove to St. George on Saturday so the boys could "hang" and do fun things before heading to Vegas early Sunday morning...

We went to church with the Coffey's prior to Taeya's blessing.

Taeya Ryan Coffey was given a name and a blessing Sunday, August 18, 2019 at Patrick's parents home in Summerlin. Participants included a member of the Coffey's bishopric, Steve Coffey, Patrick Coffey, and Grayson, Garrett and John Tebbs.

We were thrilled the baby girl cousins could finally meet! Sadie Jane at four weeks old and Taeya at 10 weeks...

John and I are already envisioning how our family pictures are going to go down at Thanksgiving when we get to add one more baby girl to the mix!

Summer Fun Part 1

We took Grayson to Vegas for a couple of days the first week of August to visit Hillary, Patrick and Taeya and start working on personalizing his bedroom in St. George. Went to Vegas Top Golf and Gordon Ramsey Burger for some yummy food and lots of Taeya time...

Introduced Grayson to Hash House A Go-Go and surprised Mitchell at work since these friends hadn't seen each other for over two years. Great reunion!

Finished my week at the Superhero-themed Davis County Fair organizing all the volunteers for the Living Arts Building, receiving entries, organizing Instant Pot demos and helping with judging/set-up/take-down. I'm retiring from my position but I may be back in some capacity next year...

And while I was spending 24/7 at the Fair... John was spending several days in Monterey, CA on a "business" trip at Pebble Beach, Spy Glass, and whatever else expensive thing he could find to do.

Cooper Scott Ron Paul Poipu Quarantine Tebbs

This is the hardest blog post I've ever had to write.
We lost Cooper on Monday, July 29, 2019. Just a week shy of him living with us for 12 short years... I wrote a memorial for him which I posted on Instagram and Facebook which I will copy here so it is documented in our family history book forever.

In Memoriam... Cooper Scott Ron Paul Poipu Quarantine Tebbs
(May 26, 2007-July 29, 2019)

How do you put 12 years of dog-loving and thousands of photos and memories into one 10-picture post? Impossible. Just know... Cooper was loved deeply, fiercely, unconditionally, and made life better for everyone who knew him.

Cooper loved the sun, courtesy cones, walks, chicken jerky, his soccer ball, new doggie bed, naps, chasing birds/ducks/cats, bum scratches, tummy rubs, hanging his head out the car window, his family, and most of all
--his mom.

Cooper disliked baths, dress-up, small children, leashes, fireworks, thunder/lightning, other dogs, staying home alone and brain tumors.

Our family is heartbroken. There is a void. He kept us connected with "Cooper Worshippers" daily family group texts of pics and videos and has been the "glue" on many occasions of bringing peace to our home. He is irreplaceable and will be sorely missed. We love you baby boy! (And you better be there the first one to greet me in heaven!!!)
