Wedding Celebration at Grand America!

When the planned reception got canceled at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building due to Covid, we were limited to a group of 100 people. Since our family made up the majority of that number we invited a few close friends who impacted Grayson and Caroline's lives to the Grand America Hotel. Caroline's mother hosted the event with an amazing dinner and program consisting of all the siblings speaking, the moms, one last thought from grandpas and appreciation from Grayson and Caroline.

This about sums up the night!

Mr. & Mrs. Tebbs - August 15, 2020

With the temples being closed to the general public and the numbers greatly diminished for social distancing, Grayson and Caroline were allowed 16 people in the temple for their sealing. That was exactly the amount of people on both sides of immediate family members. It was nice to have such a small, intimate group in the sealing room to witness the marriage sealing performed by Caroline's grandpa Elder Neil A. Andersen. Additional family members weren't even allowed inside the temple gates on the grounds so they congregated right outside with signs and balloons to celebrate. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day and perfect weather!

August Wedding Events!

Two days after returning from Arizona and a day after my birthday I tested positive for Covid-19 and had to self-isolate while John had to self-quarantine. Half the month of August was gone but we were blessed we both were healthy and well to attend and participate in Grayson and Caroline's wedding events. All the family came from out of town and stayed at the house for the festivities. The babies had a blast!

We hosted a wedding luncheon Friday, August 14 at Eldredge House--the day before the wedding for both sides of the family, immediate and extended, plus the bridesmaids and groomsmen. Speakers included the bridesmaids, groomsmen, two fathers, three grandfathers and Caroline and Grayson. It was a nice event.
