Family Fun!

I've been wanting to enjoy a meal in an Alpenglobe in Midway at the Cafe Galleria for awhile. You have to make reservations pretty far in advance for the popular days/times. When I saw there was an 8am breakfast slot available in January, I hurried and booked it along with a 2-hour tubing appointment. It was COLD but sunny, the food was delicious and we all had a fun time in the outdoors in beautiful Midway!

 

The two couples wanted to do a few more runs so we headed back to the warm lodge taking turns hanging out with Luke since he was too young to go and then Sadie when she was DONE! Such a fun day!

Cruisin' into 2022!

We did it! Went on a three-night cruise to get out of Covid-infested Utah and instead of 3,000 passengers, the ship only had 1,300. No crowds, no lines and even got upgraded to a suite! Easy on/off to the ship and quick access from LAX to Long Beach cruise terminal. We enjoyed three spa activities each along with the thermal rooms, lots of amazing food, PG comedians, had one day at sea enjoying the sun and one day in Ensenada. Best way to start the year and hopefully becomes an annual tradition!

 

Quick Trip to Vegas

The Coffeys are moving to a new place at the end of the month so I went down to help pack up a few things and hang with the kids for a couple days. We had lots of fun riding the train, shopping, eating out, music time at the library and playing at the park.

John held down the fort (and the dog) while I was gone and I dropped in on mom on the way home and she was having a great day!

 

Kings Return!

Can't believe two years have come and gone! Glad to have the Kings back in Utah and in St. George full time where we visit often! So grateful mom made it through two hard Covid years and Michelle could give her another hug...

Closing out 2021!

 Our snowblower broke (again!) just in time for all the big December snow storms... 

Since John and I were sick almost half of December with the flu, we missed a lot of Christmas activities we would've liked to have done with the family. We were able to get out a few nights after Christmas to Christmas in Color with Garrett's family. Fun to drive 5mph with millions of lights and music for 20 minutes! 

Also got to drop in on mom right after Christmas once I was feeling better.

We finished 2021 celebrating the New Years weekend in Post Falls with Hailey's family. Chloe got to jump on the Christmas gift we gave her and loved it and we went to Tito's Italian Grill for New Years Eve and squeezed in some indoor swimming, shopping and home improvement in the 1-1/2 days we were in there.

Even Tank had a fun holiday weekend with Rover.com partying it up with lots of friends!
