March Madness!

Finished up the month having our last cousin lunch before Eric heads to Israel to be the director of the BYU Jerusalem Center for the next two year... 

I always try and sneak a picture with mom when I visit and she may not always be smiling but at least she's alert and looking at the camera--haha!

We headed down to Vegas to hang out with Hillary and the kids for a couple of days while Patrick is finishing up the last busy month of tax season. He gets home so late at night we tried to catch him at dinner across from his work just to say hello. Saturday morning the kids came to our hotel for breakfast and swimming and had a great time! John had fun too!

Bucket List Trip, Mar. 10-13

 With John's 60th birthday coming up May 1, we're trying to get as many #60 bucket list items we can fit in before and after his big day! He's always wanted to see some big Redwoods so we headed to Northern California to find some... and hit up Monterey and Carmel while we were there!

DAY 1: Mystery Spot Tour, Forest of Nisene Marks State Park, Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park. 

John LOVED this day filled with hikes through the Redwoods!

DAY 2: Point Lobos State Natural Reserve, Carmel, 17 Mile Drive peddling through all the famous Golf Links on E-bikes, Monterey

DAY 3: Capitola, UC Santa Cruz Arboretum, Wilder Ranch State Park, Santa Cruz Lighthouse Point & Surf Museum, Santa Cruz Boardwalk and Beach, Natural Bridges State Beach

Disney on Ice!

Hailey's family came to Utah to see Disney on Ice and we took Scarlett Renee to meet Grammy Renee for the first time. Brunch at Penny Ann's with Papa and crew... 

The girls were SO excited to get their Elsa costumes on and go to Disney on Ice. They absolutely loved the show and we loved every minute watching the excitement and joy on their faces. Being a grandparent is the absolute best!
