April Antics!

Just wanted to document a few fun and unique things we did in April...

Our city had the opportunity to host the traveling Old Testament Tabernacle and our stake had a day they needed filled with hosts for the public to come through. John and I took a time slot on one of the coldest days in April but enjoyed being able to serve.

The day we got back from NYC, Grayson and Caroline picked up their new puppy Kobe. Hopefully he and Tank can become friends before Kobe becomes double Tank's size :)

Easter Sunday we were able to attend Jaya Cluff's missionary farewell and then a brunch at her home. The boys and their families joined us as well.

Garrett is adding two rooms to his upstairs and John, Andrew, Mark and Grayson (and Sadie) helped get him started...

John and I both got really bad colds, sore throats, congestion that lasted for awhile so we went to St. George for several days and did absolutely nothing to soak in the sun and relax. We found a new treat place we had to try and the mini pies were delicious!

We attended the sold out Johnson Files Improv performance at Centerpoint at a late 8:30pm time slot and enjoyed it so much we decided to attend Bountiful's own The Improvables which our friend Tyler Clawson performs with. Of course, he pulled me up on stage for one of their skits... oh brother!

Luke turns 1!

Such a fun night celebrating Luke Kaden Tebbs turning ONE on April 11, 2022! We gave him a mini bike and a hamster playground he and Sadie will both enjoy :) Happy birthday to the cutest one-year-old with the best smile!

NY, NY!

What a whirlwind trip to NYC! Grayson, Caroline and I left Thursday evening and got home Sunday evening... BUT, due to a late departure plus two hours of circling Ohio prior to finally arriving at our hotel at 3am and a diverted plane and eight hours in the Detroit airport on our return, we were only actually in Manhattan for 48 hours!!!

Besides our UBER rides to/from the airport, we took the subway or walked everywhere. Minimum of 25,000 steps per day.
The weather was beautiful all day Friday when we spent most of our time exploring and going to Central Park.

Since all three of us have done almost all the touristy things, we mainly went to see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child--loved all 3-1/2 hours of it!

I hadn't been inside the Oculus before or gone to the top of the One World Observatory so we hit up those two attractions as well.

Interestingly, we spent the majority of our free time shopping--hours and hours--and Grayson only purchased a hat at Supreme :)

Our other favorite activity was the food! From Los Tacos No. 1, to Emily (AMAZING burger and pizza), our own pizza food tour, Levain Bakery, Posh Pop Bake Shop and more, our favorite meal was at Jacob's Pickles with Cameron, Erin, Hudson, Sawyer and Olive King. We haven't seen them in person since before the pandemic so we enjoyed catching up with them!

Back at home, Tank enjoyed his stay at Rover.com... (top left corner)

...and John flew to Hailey's house to hang out with the cute kiddos!
