November Nuggets

We had a cousin lunch while Eric was home on leave from Jerusalem for a couple weeks and John's toy barn is framed and has a roof!

We spent Thanksgiving with dad and Michelle & Steve at the Cotterells house and then we picked Grayson and Caroline up and drove to St. George with another load of stuff. We drove to Vegas on Saturday to celebrate with Beckham early for his 2nd birthday a few weeks later and took him on the Summerlin train and dinner at Brio Italian restaurant. 

Sunday we celebrated Cora at her baby blessing, she was a perfect angel and Patrick gave her a beautiful blessing. We had a light lunch and then drove back to Bountiful to start our Monday work week.

 

Our Favorite Island Vacation...

John and I ended up canceling a couple of vacations we had planned due to house selling and house construction but we didn't cancel our trip to Kauai. It's our favorite island and we needed the sun and relaxation. We didn't really have anything planned and it was the best way to spend six days! We stayed at the Sheraton in Poipu and it's right on the beach and beautiful. All the food was amazing and the hikes and drives were relaxing. The perfect way to wind down after a very stressful few months.

November Birthdays!

We started the month off with a large furniture drop-off to St. George since John had to go down for the annual Dixie Classic golf tournament. Garrett was golfing too so his family joined us for the festivities.

 

We snuck down to Las Vegas for a day to celebrate Hillary's upcoming birthday. Patrick had a BYU Accountancy reunion which included ice skating, lunch, Crumbl cookies, a raffle and fun things for the kids. We got Hillary a manicure and pedicure and then went to her favorite restaurant Lucille's for dinner that night and celebrated.

A couple of nights later we went to Ruth's Chris to celebrate Garrett's birthday. He and Julia had never been there so that was his choice and he said it was the best steak he'd ever had!

The next week we caught up with Grayson and Caroline to celebrate HIS birthday and we tried a restaurant we'd heard good things about in Draper--Oak Wood Fire Kitchen--and we will definitely be going back! Happy birthday to my three November babies!!!
