Senna's Blessing & Chloe's 4th Halloween Birthday!

Beautiful Senna Tayte was blessed by her daddy Garrett at her home on Sunday, Oct. 29. 

Lots of pink was worn!

And the cutest Halloween baby Chloe Renee turned 4 on Halloween day! She had a Halloween party followed by trick or treating in her neighborhood.

She wanted mummy hot dogs and homemade mac and cheese. I believe she ate three of those mummy dogs!

Her other grandma Gigi, dressed up like Chloe and Scarlett...

She wanted a Jack Skelington cake that had lots of purple and sprinkles...

She loved her gifts and had lots of fun with her spider pinata...

Started trick or treating at 6pm and these kidlets went for well over an hour!

October Outings!

The 3 Amigos are ready for Halloween! They love chasing balls together at the park, even though Tank gets outrun most of the time...

 

 

Sadie and Luke joined me at Grandparent Storytime at the Highland Library. They always read several books based on their theme of the day, sing songs and make a craft.  

The Hughes joined us at our ward Trunk or Treat and chili cook-off. My Rattlesnake Beans took 3rd place out of 20 entries!

Spent a morning at Gardner Village at Breakfast with a Witch. Chloe and Sadie were part of the "Rat Choir." :)

Annual Beach Week!

 We love our annual family tradition of a week at Capistrano Surfside Inn. The last few years we've been going in the Spring but decided to try October this time. It never got hot and stayed in the 70s the majority of the time--both the highs and the lows. The cousins had a lot of fun together and created lots of new memories...

Since check in is 4pm Sunday, most of us arrived that evening flying in from Utah. Papa always gives us money for a meal "on him" at El Torito so that's where we headed for our first dinner.

TONS of beach time--their favorite place!

Also spent many hours at the pool...

The families with kids spent a day at Disneyland and the whole group spent a day at Knott's Berry Farm... there were even a couple of rides the whole family could go on together.

Our favorite thing is just hanging out together and letting the kids enjoy each other's company...

And we always take advantage of the rare times all 18 of us (almost 19) are in one place and we snap a family picture before it's outdated a few months later--haha! Sure do love this amazing family of mine!
