September Gatherings and Birthdays

Drove to Fat Fish in Bountiful to celebrate Misty Mower's 50th birthday with dear friends and old neighbors. Such a fun mini reunion even missing a few... So glad Misty's cancer is at bay and she's holding her own.

A few garden veggies that we grew...

Trying to extend the pool days as long as the weather permits...

John and I, along with Garrett and his family, went to Black Desert Resort for a couple of nights with some of the St. George Bonneville office for a golf tournament. Hillary's family came up to stay with us at Black Desert Resort since we had one extra hotel room. The guys played golf and we played at the park and pool...

We celebrated Riley and Scarlett's September birthdays at our Sunday family dinner. Scarlett turned four and is such a fun peanut. She really wanted a Barbie cake so I ordered one from our cake lady Katie and she delivered. Scarlett loved it! Scarlett is sassy, smart and fearless. She loves to sing and dance and definitely has stage presence. We love having Scarlett Renee in our family and I love that she's named after my mom (Grammy).

Greece 2025--Hydra

Our final island stop was Hydra. No cars. Just donkeys and foot traffic. We hiked to Kamini fishing village and walked around the port area. John bought a Greek shirt. Weather was ideal every single day and we never wore a jacket once.

Greece 2025--Santorini

Ahhhh... beautiful Santorini! Probably my favorite. The only way up to the city center is by cable car, donkey or walking 580 large stairs. We chose to walk up and take the cable car down. The freshly painted white buildings and the blues were breathtaking and the beach water was warm and calm.

My view of Santorini from our balcony room on the ship before dinner...

Greece 2025--Rhodes + Day at Sea

Rhodes was another island we visited and it had a Medieval village right at the port. We took a tour to a pottery factory, Lindos Beach and walked the Medieval city and shops.

Our one and only day at sea included a couple of outdoor movies, working out in the gym, massages, lots of sun and formal night with lobster dinner and baked Alaska.
