November Nostalgia

We have THREE November birthdays and we try and celebrate either with the couple or their entire family. They can choose the place depending on who they include... Garrett brought the whole fam and chose Wingers, Grayson chose Braza Grill and Hillary didn't have much of a choice since we were in Vegas for Formula 1 and we had to eat breakfast right before soccer games so she chose Snooze (no pic).

Also finished attending two more Primary Sacrament Meeting Programs...

Thanksgiving was really fun and stress-free this year. We took all the Utah kids to Zootopia 2 at 9:45am Thanksgiving morning and then everyone came over for dinner at 3:30pm. Garrett smoked Tri-Tip since the majority of the family doesn't like turkey and I made a small turkey roast for those that do. Caroline made mashed potatoes and gravy, Riley made sweet potato casserole, Hailey made deviled eggs and Julia brought a fruit platter. I cooked the small turkey, made a relish tray, harvest salad and picked up Maddox rolls, raspberry butter and a chocolate cream and coconut cream pie. Easy peasy!

The next morning we drove to St. George so we could spend a couple of days with Hillary's family. John and Patrick went dirt biking and we hung out at the Children's Museum and did some e-biking, went to the St. George Temple lights and Visitor's Center where the kids got to do a fun scavenger hunt, went black friday shopping at the mall and the giving machines and ate lots of yummy food.

Formula 1 Las Vegas

John, Garrett Andrew and Grayson from Bonneville Builders took several clients to Formula 1 in Las Vegas and I tagged along for my first ever experience! We experienced three days of events and activities and the races were exciting--especially the day it rained with the women's races.

We were able to pop over to the Coffey kids' last soccer games on Saturday morning as well as take Hillary to breakfast to celebrate her November birthday. Fun weekend!

Saturday morning soccer in Summerlin...

John unfortunately got hijacked on the strip!! Good thing I was there to rescue him!

Church History Tour

As a "reward" to myself for teaching Doctrine & Covenants in Gospel Doctrine all year, I signed up for a 5-day church history tour with Barbara Morgan Gardner and Elaine Dalton. I only knew one lady from the ward that was going and met 52 other amazing women on the trip!

Fun to do an endowment in the Nauvoo Temple. The last time I was inside was during it's Open House in 2002 with John.

John had a blast while I was gone... Fun event at the Aquarium with a dinner and entertainment by Casey Elliott, and a family Sunday dinner making homemade bumpy noodles with the kids and grandkids!

Next generation of bumpy noodle lovers!

Even Tank had an amazing time as he got to hang out with his buddy Kobe and play with Bentley for five days...
