The Ritz Carlton Respite

 It never rains in Southern California... except when we were there seeking some warmth and sunshine. John and I were still pretty sick so we just burrowed down for a few days at The Ritz Carlton, got lots of extra sleep and ordered room service.

The sun came out on day two for a couple of hours and we went on a long walk.

On day three, we finally got a little warmth and we went to Medieval Times Dinner and Show before heading to the airport and back home to the frozen tundra of Utah!

2 Trips to Vegas & an Anniversary...

Hillary and Patrick's house is almost finished and we drove the trailer down to Vegas to get a load of things into their upstairs since they're still working on their floors on the main level. Coen is growing up so quickly and he loves Tank!

Went home for a couple days only to fly back for our annual Furniture Market getaway! We went to yummy restaurants, The Sphere, Styx Concert, shopping at Fashion Show Mall and the Outlets and one long day of 20,000 steps at World Market. Another successful adventure!

Finished the last day of the month celebrating High Fitness 10-year Anniversary and I just celebrated my 6th year as a High Fitness instructor. Amber and Emily sure created an amazing fitness format!

 

January Joys!

 January always seems like several months long and we're usually glad when we get through it. We packed so much in we probably accomplished several months worth of activities too! Here's the first half...

We celebrated having the Sechrests home from their mission with dinner at Tsunami in Lehi and then games and treats back at our house.

Swig has been selling all their drinks all day, all sizes for $1.00 and John wants to go nightly. When we had Tank in the car with us they gave him a pup cup full of whipped cram and a dog biscuit and he was in heaven.

Took Bentley on his first Carousel ride and he didn't quite know what to think!

Hailey and I went for pedicures and Scarlett came and wanted her nails done...

Chloe and Sadie had their MOVE dance recital and did an excellent job. They always have tons of family support and lots of cheering for them.

After the recital we went back to our house for a "Wicked" party. Watched the show on the big screen and ate food and snacks. The kids loved the movie.
