60th Birthday Surprise!

On Saturday, July 26 the day before my birthday, the kids sent John and me to All That Chocolate in Lehi with the three oldest grandkids for a birthday present to keep me away from the house for an hour so they could set up for my 60th birthday surprise party!

They decorated the backyard and had sandwiches from Kneaders and fruit and veggies and Katie Southwick made an amazing birthday cake with some of my hobbies on it along with lots of other treats from her kitchen! The kids invited friends from the gym and buddies from Bountiful and it was super fun!

Grateful for an amazing family who loves and cares about me and wanted my 60th birthday to be extra special and memorable!

 

July Jubilees Part 2

 Hillary's family came up on July 24 to stay through August 2 and we made good use of my Thanksgiving Point pass and went to Curiosity Farm, Butterfly Biosphere, Curiosity Museum, Dinosaur Museum, Jurassic Jungle and Imaginaria...

Sadie turns 6!

 Sadie turned six on July 22. We celebrated with the family at our Sunday family dinner and she wanted a chocolate cake with white frosting decorated with cherries. On her actual birthday, I picked her up after dance and took her to lunch at Panda Express (her favorite), took her to Build-A-Bear to make a Happy Birthday bear and then we bought a backpack for school.

Sadie had a birthday party at her house the following week when all her cousins were in town and could attend with all of her friends...

July Jubilees Part 1

Lots of fun July events and social opportunities...

Kate Davis returned from her mission and since Hailey had coached her in Lacrosse in high school and the Davis' are some close friends, we attended Kate's homecoming and caught up with old neighbors and friends.

Toured the Picklr facility with the Norton group of players from the winter...

Attended Heeva's release of his Lemonade album...

Filmed a High Fitness workout for the app with Kandas and Courtnie...

Attended our district's group fitness instructor appreciation event...

My boss, GFSTL, Kyle and the general manager of the Lehi Vasa...

John got really sick and the only thing that sounded good to him was a Slurpee, so we door dashed a few to him...

Big announcement for baby #4 for Garrett's fam and a boy!
