Grandchildren Sports Have Begun

 We drove to Vegas on Saturday, April 1 to watch Taeya play on her 3-year-old soccer rec team. She's by far the smallest but she's quick and aggressive like her mom. Always fun to hang out with the Coffey kids...

March Madness Part 2!

SO glad we've been living in St. George this winter where Northern Utah got record amounts of snow and cold and we enjoyed early blossoms and tons of sun! We got a playhouse put together for the grandkids and our yard is ready for visitors!

Headed up north for our annual celebration of St. Patrick's Day at the Mandarin in Bountiful. Since the Kings couldn't be with us, Papa invited my family members that lived nearby to join us. It was delicious as usual.

We stayed overnight at Garrett's house (where John stays the majority of his work week) and it was fun to hang with the kiddos for 24 hours.

John is always back in St. George on the weekends and we made the most of the beautiful weather getting out to see Gunlock Falls and taking the shuttle bus tour of Zion National Park with the Seachrest's.

March Madness Part 1!

Our Washington Fields 20th Ward set up an evening with Benja, the founder and owner of Benja Thai Restaurant in St. George. She taught us how to make spring rolls and we got to take several home. They were delicious--especially her secret sauce...

John & I hadn't seen the Hughes kids since the end of December so we flew up to spend a few days with them. They love to visit us at our hotel in Couer d'Alene to eat breakfast, swim and look at the bronze Sasquatch out the window.

We also went shopping in downtown Couer d'Alene and to the petting farm. John and I drove past the Spokane Temple on our way to the airport since we'd never seen it before...

February Fun Part 2!

 Valentines Day was on a Tuesday this year. I wasn't teaching any classes that day and High Fitness owners and co-creators Emily and Amber were teaching a class in Hillary's ward building in Summerlin so I drove down and Hillary and I packed up the kids and went to the class. We all had a blast!

While the kids napped, I snuck a session in at the Las Vegas Temple.

And had Valentines waiting for me when I got home...

I've loved lots of things about St. George but its also been fun for Tank. He loves going to the dog park and chasing balls and sniffing dogs. He even tried out a 5-mile ebike ride which he didn't hate...

Another fun thing I have is a membership to the St. George Children's Museum. All the grands that have been able to go with me have loved it! Activities and fun for all ages. Garrett's family came for a few days and Hillary and her kids came up for a couple of days while they were here. I've loved being here and out of the snow and having family come for some great quality time.
