St. George Tennis Tournament

Grayson is pretty new to tennis.  He decided to pursue this sport once he gave up comp. soccer last Spring.  He has been working hard and developing a passion for it.  He was one of two 9th graders to make the WXHS Tennis Team and he plays doubles on their JV squad with 10th grader Xonjay.

They're an awesome group of boys, learning great character and life-building skills and they've been very welcoming and supportive of Grayson.

The Varsity team moved on to the tournament finals and won the championship!

This may be the year WXHS takes State Tennis!  Good luck Wildcats!!

Holiday Trees

It's fun decorating our trees for each holiday.  Gotta get the green decorations down and the the pastels up quickly before Easter is actually here!  Hope your St. Patrick's Day was fun... Happy Easter!

Marching into March!

Grayson plays percussion in the Symphonic Band at So. Davis Jr. High.  He was in a group with 8 other percussionists to compete in a solo/ensemble competition.  His group was able to move on to District where they scored a Superior rating.

He also found a new love at Hires--cheese fries with BACON!

Hailey is enjoying her coaching position with the Alta JV girls lacrosse team.  The league had a JV Play Day at Woods Cross High School Saturday and her team played Davis and Cache Valley and won both games.  She loves the girls and the girls love her... (she's in the white puffy coat)

I was glad Hailey's games were over by noon because we had to get Grayson out to his AAU tournament games in SLC at 2, 4 and 6 pm.  His Wildcat team won all 3 games and Grayson scored a total of 40 points between the games; 18 points in the first one.

This tired group of 9th graders headed to Crown Burger for dinner and of course, more fries :)

Hailey and I ducked out of Grayson's last game a little early so we could see "Bring It On" The Musical at Capitol Theater.  Hailey has watched every "Bring It On" movie (I think there's at least 5) and owns most of them.  She'd really wanted to see this so we were glad it came to SLC.

And the last GREAT news of the day was Grayson found out he made the Woods Cross High School tennis team and starts practice Monday!
