Friends Matter!

Hailey and Kambree hosted a bridal shower for their good friend Kelli. They've been bridesmaids at each other's weddings. They cheered together in high school and were cheer captains their senior year. They served missions at the same time and are now supporting each other as young marrieds. Good friends are priceless!

Grayson attended monthly missionary firesides with this great group of friends! Its so exciting they'll be serving all over the world at the same time.

These five though... been through thick and thin together and have made Grayson's high school years stellar! I will miss these guys the next couple of years but can't wait to see what their bright future has in store for them!

State Tennis!

State tennis this year was a cold one! We got rained out the last couple of years and had to move to inside courts so we were happy we didn't have rain this year, but it was cold. The boys had a make-shift propane heater they used which was also portable when they watched other matches.

Grayson and Davis were the first seed in their region so they played the fourth seed of another region in the first round. They beat Murray 6-3, 6-2. The boys played well together.

Grayson had good crowd support and by the end of his matches he had several friends, Papa, Garrett and even Kristen Holm who came to watch him play.

They got put in a tough bracket as they faced Timpview (previous state champs) in the second round and got beat 6-1, 6-2. Grayson's serves were on point and the games they won were the games he was serving.

Tough match against amazing competition.

The last time these boys will play together...

SO proud of Grayson's season and the athlete and fine young man he is on and off the court. We're going to miss watching him...

Week of Celebration!

Sis and I stopped by Beehive Homes a few days before Mother's Day so we could be there together to give mom a couple of gifts and celebrate with her! She was perky and responsive and we felt blessed.

She loved her new outfits we gave her but she especially loved the baby doll she gets to hold and snuggle...

Hailey turned 22 on May 12th and she got some fun gifts plus an amazing dinner at Benihana!

Hailey was also a good sport to run the Vigor Half Marathon with me. She doesn't particularly enjoy running even though she's good at it. It was a chilly 6 am start up near Solitude Ski Resort but a warm finish 13.1 miles later at Old Mill. We stayed together and chatted the whole race and only made one potty stop to run a 1:46.

Garrett and John ran the 10K together and I think the only reason Garrett does so is for the massage at the end of the race!

My favorite thing about Mother's Day isn't the gifts--even though they were awesome!--but just being together as a family and enjoying each others' company.
