Sadie Jane Tebbs - 6 lbs. 14 oz. - Born Sunday, July 21 @ 2:09 am in Phoenix, AZ to Garrett and Julia Tebbs. So thrilled for our SECOND grandchild and granddaughter. I hopped on a flight to Phoenix as soon as I could and spent 4 hours holding Sadie so her parents could get some rest. I LOVED IT!! Can't wait for a longer visit in a couple weeks...

And then there was one...
Everyone has gone home and Grayson is now the lone child again with the parents. We've gone to a movie, helped him buy his car, continued the annual Bountiful Handcart Days Parade tradition with just the three of us and dinner at one of his favorite restaurants, Mikado, to celebrate MY birthday :) We love having Grayson in the household again and will miss him greatly when he leaves next month for BYU :(
I was wondering why these two needed their sunglasses inside the restaurant...

The Homecoming!
Garrett flew in Saturday night so he could hear Grayson's homecoming talk at church on Sunday. They were so excited to see each other and headed to the store to get Grayson an XBox since Garrett confiscated Grayson's two years ago :)
Sunday was an amazing day filled with lots of friends, food and fun. Grayson gave an outstanding talk and we loved hearing him bear his testimony in Portuguese.
It was wonderful to have the 4 siblings under the same roof--even if it was just for a few hours. We love our family!!
That evening Grayson reunited with his best friend Taylor Smith who just returned from Japan and spoke at the exact same time as Grayson.
He's Home!!!
July 11, 2019--Best Day Ever! Grayson returned home from the Brazil Campinas Mission and is the final child in our family to serve a mission. He arrived at 10:30 am and all of his siblings were at the airport to meet him except Garrett who flew in Saturday for his homecoming report at church.
That first hug is always the most amazing thing about a missionary's return. So happy Papa was able to bet there and new niece Taeya!
Elder Lewis Johnson and Grayson left on the same flight 2 years prior and were friends and they arrived home together even closer.
Grayson's first meal request was In 'N Out and then we went home and he was stunned at his surroundings. He hadn't felt air conditioning or carpet for two years and wept when he saw his big, comfortable bed which he said he didn't deserve. He was humbled and grateful and so happy to be home! He was released later that evening by President Hammon and it was bittersweet to see him remove his name tag and the emotion it caused him to do so. Elder Tebbs was a wonderful missionary and we're all thrilled to have him home and anxious to see what amazing things are in store for him...
