Halloween Events!

Took Julia & the kids to Halloween Haunts at This Is The Place Park and then had our ward Trunk or Treat that night where they joined us.

Flew to Idaho early the next morning since Chloe has a Halloween birthday. We spent a fun day celebrating at her costume party, went on a Halloween cruise on Lake Couer d'Alene, dinner and games and shakes before heading to our hotel. Attended church with them Sunday, had Sunday dinner and headed back home for the work week.

Halloween was on a Monday this year so we went trick or treating in Saratoga Springs and also got cute pics of the Coffeys trick or treating in their Incredibles costumes. I think Aunt Edna (Cora) won the costume prize this year!

A Vegas Visit

Hillary and kids were going to be alone a couple days while Patrick was at a bike race so I went down to hang out and help get everyone to Taeya's early morning soccer game. We definitely needed two adults for three kids! Since I arrived on Friday, we went to the Magic Friday that evening and I spent the night and then off to soccer games, Summerlin Farmers Market and lunch at Taeya's choice--Mexican food truck--for lunch. I'm glad she loves bean and cheese burritos as much as I do!

Dad's 90th Birthday!!

Can't believe I have a 90-year-old dad! He looks and acts amazing and still has his great memory intact. Slowing down a bit but still out walking every morning for an hour.

We celebrated his birthday at Garrett's house with all of the family members living in Utah. We zoomed the other family members so they could all sing Happy Birthday with us and wish dad a great day. Each family also sent a 30-sec. video to Julia to put together of things we admire about dad. Michelle typed up dad's "List to Live By" and made it into a bookmark for everyone. We BBQ'd hamburgers and hot dogs and had sides and birthday pies from Maddoxx (his favorite!). It was such a great day celebrating an amazing man!

Halloween at Gardner Village Witchfest

This is our 2nd year in a row attending Witchfest at Gardner Village and dinner at Archibalds and we're thinking we're going to keep this fun tradition. The kids love the decorations and costumes and the adults love watching the kids and the food at Archibalds. A win-win for everyone!
