Happy Birthday Cooper Scott!!

Since Cooper is one of the family he gets his birthday photo collage just like everyone else... And his full name (according to the kids) is Cooper Scott Ron Paul Tebbs.  He is 8 years old today!

He LOVES to snuggle on (or in) any bed he can find in the house...

He LOVES the sun...

He LOVES his "guys"...

He LOVES walks, courtesy cones at Artic Circle and ME!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my faithful, loving pal Cooper!

Memorial Day Weekend 2015

It has rained almost every day the month of May in Bountiful so we were hoping we'd find amazing weather if we headed south to St. George for the Memorial Day Weekend.  It wasn't super hot or sunny on Saturday but it was perfect biking weather--overcast and cool--which kept the big crowds away from the Bear Claw Poppy Mountain Biking Trail.

It was Grayson's first time mountain biking and he had a blast!

Garrett got some amazing photos and video footage on his GoPro.  He used a mop handle to make himself a selfie stick which worked perfectly!

The rest of our afternoon was spent playing pickleball, tennis, basketball and soccer with a few friends who were also staying in St. George...

Attended our neighborhood ward on Sunday...

Took Cooper for a long walk to the duck pond...

Remembered Ashton...

And the biggest news in our home this week was getting Direct TV!!!!  We chose not to install cable, satellite, etc. in our home while our kids were growing up and they didn't seem to miss out.  If there was a certain sporting event they wanted to watch, they usually got invited to a friend's house.  It's crazy, but it was actually cheaper per month to add Direct TV on an advertised promotion we received in the mail to our existing phone/internet coverage so we did it.  Grayson and I now spend a little quality time each day watching the Food Network together.  :)

Supporting Family and Friends...

Garrett, Grayson and I met my mom, dad and their friend Margueritte from Ireland at the Payson Temple Open House.  I LOVED the colors they used throughout the interior of the temple, the stained glass windows and the beautiful local artwork.

So glad we're able to take advantage often to be together, to lift and support each other.

I'm always eager to support Grayson in his sports and activities.  He had five basketball games in a tournament in Roy on Saturday and I was able to watch four of them...

Had to miss Grayson's last game to support our friends at a 40th birthday surprise party which was filled with many more friends and favorite foods of the birthday boy I couldn't get enough of...

Ate the last piece of this AMAZING caramel apple cake we bought for A LOT of money at a YW fundraiser activity to support girls camp!

Received a text and photo from Sister Tebbs' trainer who is now a returned missionary who also happened to return to the Nashville mission for a few days.  Oh how blessed she was to be supported her first 6 weeks in the field by this incredible sister!

He did it!! Region Champion!

WXHS Tennis has a deep team.  Great competitors at the Varsity and JV levels which make it hard to move up on the team.  Both the Varsity and JV teams competed at regionals at Liberty Park May 7-8 with JV completing their championship rounds May 11 due to weather.  Both Varsity and JV brought home Regional Championship wins.

Grayson had to play Kearns first and won handily.  He took on Judge next with the same outcome.

He took on East in the championship match and won.  Grayson is region champ in 2nd singles.  He went undefeated the entire season, including tournaments in St. George and Logan.

Glad his grandparents could come and see his championship win!

The amazing JV team: Xonjay, Nate, Micah, JB, Grayson and Jake.
Grant is missing.  Go cats!!!
