High School Cheer

Hailey cheered at her first high school football game Friday night. Woods Cross vs. Roy. It's tradition to have the football players rip through a sign as they make their way on the field (now it's a nice thick vinyl with velcro to re-use each game; we had to hand-paint signs on poster paper for each game when I cheered...)

She looks a little nervous and I'm wondering what she's thinking...

I can see her legs... she's still standing!

20 cheerleaders seems like a lot to me but they can do very cool stunts and pyramids at competitions with that number of girls... (Hailey is in the middle in the back. She has been growing so she may not be the shortest in a few more months.)

It was the night of Mini Cheerleaders--a "fun"draiser for the girls...

Cheering...

Dancing...

Stunting... (the pix I have of her on top with her leg up was too blurry)

Each time WX scores a touchdown/extra point, the cheerleaders run down to the end zone and do as many push-ups as points on the scoreboard. WX beat Roy 42-0...

Hailey is having a LOT of fun cheering with this group of girls (just wish she didn't have to grow up to do it!) GO WILDCATS!!
