Day 2 at the U.S. Open was even better than the first. We had 2 seats in Arthur Ashe stadium and 2 seats in Louis Armstrong stadium so we could see all the big-name players. There were some awesome matches and lots of upsets. We also made our way to the Grandstand and outdoor courts to watch some doubles.
4th row in Louis Armstrong was stellar. Kerber got beat by Cibulcova, Caroline Garcia got beat by Carla Suarez Navarro and Federer barely beat Kyrgios
It was fun to be there for the 50th Anniversary as some of the great players from the past were there and they stood up during some of the matches as they were introduced.
By the time we got back to our hotel at 8 pm (left that morning at 8 am), the guys were tired and wanted to watch the night matches on TV so Hillary and I walked 1.6 miles each way to Magnolia Bakery in Greenwich Village for their incredible desserts. We were glad we walked...
