Bucket list item finally checked off and dream of a lifetime realized! I've wanted to go to Tahiti since I was a child and SO glad I didn't give up on that dream! Instead of celebrating our 30th Anniversary Sept. 30, 2018 we pushed it to Feb. 2-10, 2019 for great prices and minimal tourists.
We flew to LAX Saturday morning and then hopped on an Air Tahiti Nui 8-hour flight that afternoon which was late and we ended up arriving in Papeete, Tahiti at midnight. We stayed overnight at the beautiful Tahiti Manava Suite Resort.
The next morning we took a ferry to Moorea where we spent the next three days at the Moorea Manava Beach Resort & Spa. On Monday we took an 8-hour boat tour with lunch at a private island in the ocean with sharks and tame sting rays. We also went snorkeling in several places. It was as beautiful as I had hoped...
