TAHITI Part 4...

We went fishing in the ocean near the resort and used live crabs as bait and a piece of wood with fishing line wrapped around it with a hook on the end. We ended up catching three each and had the option to have the kitchen cook them for us but we passed...

Took the small boat to the small town by the airport and one store and walked around in 85-degree temp sweating to death.

Took a snorkeling tour and swam with HUGE manta rays which was amazing! Said farewell to Tikehau and took a plane back to Tahiti.

Since we had a 7-hour layover until our overnight flight we hired a taxi (the driver happened to be LDS) and she took us past the Tahiti Temple, around the downtown area and then dropped us off at the Intercontinental Hotel where we had a buffet dinner and hung out until it was time to head back to the airport. This will be one of those trips I never forget!

The cold weather, kids and Cooper were waiting for us...
