We started our 3-day Christmas weekend with lunch at Hires Big H--an annual event we used to do with the extended family after going to the Nutcracker with Nana and Halversen cousins. We continued that with our own kids until the boys no longer wanted to go to the Nutcracker and Hailey was no longer a Nutcracker participant. Hopefully when the grandgirls get a little older we can take the to the Nutcracker and then everyone else can just meet us at Hires to eat :)
All the Utah kids and grandkids, Papa and Michelle and Steve came to Christmas Eve dinner, nativity, pool, music, gingerbread houses and fun! Garrett smoked brisket and we had lots of yummy sides and desserts.
Christmas Day was filled with lots of excited kids opening their gifts, brunch at Garrett's house, John and I going to a movie and then everyone coming back over to the house for brisket nachos, movie on the big screen and more pool. We drove over our stake center parking lot to watch an amazing Christmas light show on two houses across the street. The grandkids loved it! We just missed having the Coffey family with us this weekend...
